Job Description
As a RN Lactation Consultant, you will provide guidance to patients, families, team members, and community in delivering education, information, and training that responds to individualized needs in accordance with current policies and procedures. You will interview and advise patients regarding health and illness prevention, and recommend community resources to meet patient and family needs.

Requirements

  • High School or GED required
  • 4 Year/ Bachelor’s Degree preferred - Graduate of an accredited school of nursing
  • Minimum of 1 year of experience in mother/baby care or breast-feeding education preferred
  • International Board of Lactation Consultant Examiners IBCLC within 1 Year
  • CPR/BLS Certification - American Heart Association/American Red Cross/American Safety and Health Institute (AHA/ARC)
