Role OverviewOur Medical ICU RN's work collaboratively with leadership to prioritize changes that will meaningfully improve patient safety and interdisciplinary clinical communication both during hospitalization and at transitions of care.
What You Will Do
Performs and accurately documents physical, psychosocial, and emotional assessments. Actively anticipates patients and/or patient's family needs and expectations and utilizes these in conjunction with the assessment to develop an appropriate plan of care for the patient.

Requirements
- Graduate of an accredited nursing program required
- BSN preferred
- Minimum 1 year of RN experience in an ICU setting required
- 2+ years of ICU experience strongly preferred
- Current RN license in the State of Texas or eligibility through the Nurse Licensure Compact (NLC) required
- BLS (Basic Life Support) through the American Heart Association (AHA) or American Red Cross (ARC) required
- ACLS (Advanced Cardiac Life Support) through the AHA or ARC required
- NIHSS (National Institutes of Health Stroke Scale) certification required
