Role OverviewUtilizes the nursing process in planning, executing, and evaluating the nursing care given to the surgical patient during the pre and post-operative period.
What You Will Do
Plans and delivers safe, effective nursing care until the patient is discharged from his/her care to the recovery, takes appropriate safety and infection control measures, and maintains and evaluates own clinical expertise.
Why It Might Be a Fit
Must be a graduate of an accredited School of Nursing, currently licensed as a Registered Nurse in the Commonwealth of Massachusetts, and have basic life support and ACLS certification.
Requirements
- Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing
- Currently licensed as a Registered Nurse in the Commonwealth of Massachusetts
- Must read, write and communicate in English
- Basic Life Support and ACLS Certification required
- Critical Care experience preferred
- Knowledge of applicable regulatory, compliance, and accreditation standards and requirements
