Role OverviewRN Patient Navigators provide high-touch customer service to UH customers, building strong relationships while helping them navigate the healthcare system. They coordinate care, access specialty and general medicine care, and provide patient education and navigation.

Coordinate care, access specialty and general medicine care, provide patient education and navigation, track interventions and outcomes, and provide leadership through communication and education.

Requires 5+ years in clinical medicine, fluency in English, and comprehensive understanding of healthcare resources and requirements. Must have excellent communication and organizational skills, and be able to work independently and within a team environment.
Requirements
- BSN degree in Nursing
- 5+ years in clinical medicine
- Fluency in English
- Comprehensive understanding of healthcare resources and requirements
- Experience working with Electronic Medical Record applications, registration and scheduling systems, and medical claims systems
- Experience facilitating telephonic patient outreach
- Understanding of healthcare industry trends and Federal and Commercial insurance
- Registered Nurse (RN) license in Ohio and/or Multi-State Compact License
