Role OverviewThis position works under the general supervision of a physician, advanced practice provider, and/or nursing leadership to provide nursing services in care and treatment of patients in the Preop/Recovery unit at UT Southwestern Medical Center.

Perform physical, psychosocial, and emotional assessments, develop and implement plans of care, and provide education to patients and their families.

Requirements
- Graduate of an approved/accredited nursing program
- 1 year of RN experience
- Current Texas (or BNE Compact State) license
- BLS course accredited by the American Heart Association (AHA) or American Red Cross (ARC)
