RN Seasonal MPCU Nights

Join AdventHealth as a Registered Nurse (RN) in a Seasonal MPCU Nights role, where you will provide patient care and work as part of a purpose-minded team.

What You Will Do

Follow strict infection prevention precautions, adhere to policies and procedures, and prioritize patient care, including follow-up assessments and medication safety.

This role requires 2+ years of RN experience on a Medical PCU unit within the last 12 months, with a focus on patient care, teamwork, and effective communication.

Requirements

• Organizational and multi-tasking skills
• Knowledge of nursing care methods and procedures
• Ability to work as a Team player within a unit
• Effective verbal and oral communication and problem-solving skills
• EKG (based on patient population; see document EKG and Advanced Life Support Requirements)
• Excellent interpersonal communication skills
• Basic computer skills
• Ability to communicate effectively in English, both verbally and in writing
• Problem-solving and critical thinking skills
• Ability to prioritize tasks efficiently
• Familiarity with electronic medical record systems, Cerner preferred
• Ability to use a high level of abstract reasoning to assess patient, evaluate interventions, and revise plan of care according to patient outcomes
