Role OverviewThe Registered Nurse (RN) provides direct and/or indirect care of patients in the Cardiac Cath Lab. Assesses patients, administers pharmacological drugs as ordered, performs procedures, operates equipment necessary for assigned patient care, and assists physician with procedures.

Why It Might Be a Fit
The RN must be familiar with sterile technique, Cath lab equipment, procedures and radiation safety. The RN must be able to demonstrate the knowledge and skills necessary to provide care appropriate to the age of the patients served in the Cardiac Cath Lab.
Requirements
- Current Tennessee RN license
- BLS completed before arrival to the unit/ department and maintained going forward
- Current ACLS certification
- Current PALS certification
