Role OverviewThe RN Department Supervisor will assist the Department Director/Manager in the development, organization, and implementation of the department's day-to-day operations, reflecting a commitment to Prevea Clinic's mission, vision, and values. Has responsibilities for staffing and personnel development, quality improvement, customer service, and department planning.
What You Will Do
Performs full range of leadership responsibilities, including interviewing, hiring, coaching, and developing employees; managing performance and any performance issues; planning, assigning, and directing work; encouraging innovation, teamwork, fiscal responsibility, high-quality work, and a positive/productive work environment.
Why It Might Be a Fit
Supports clinic wide customer service initiatives and serves as a customer service role model. Analyzes and recommends changes in department processes, systems, and procedures to increase efficiencies in the department.
Requirements
- Graduation from an accredited and approved Nursing program
- 2 years Experience as a RN in a healthcare setting
- Current Wisconsin RN license (or compact equivalent)
- CPS/BLS Certification- Basic Life Support for Healthcare Providers from an approved program
