Job Description
UT Southwestern is seeking a RN Unit Based Educator - Acute Medical Sickle Cell (Zale 7) to coordinate unit-based education for professional clinical staff and unlicensed assistive personnel, ensuring staff demonstrate current competencies and meet professional standards of practice. The position involves coordinating orientation, ongoing education, and skills training, as well as facilitating preceptor training and performing annual unit-specific needs assessments.
Requirements
Bachelor's Degree of Science in Nursing with a licensure as a Registered Nurse by Board of Nurse Examiners for the State of Texas
2 years recent work in a clinical specialty
BLS course accredited by the American Heart Association (AHA) or American Red Cross (ARC)
