Role OverviewThe Registered Nurse (RN) Wound Care Specialist coordinates wound care therapy into the total nursing care plan for patients; participates in patient and family teaching and provides leadership by working cooperatively with ancillary nursing and other patient team personnel to maintain standards for professional nursing practice in the clinical setting.

Requirements
- Graduation from an accredited school of nursing
- Current Registered Nursing License
- Certification from approved Wound Care Certification course (preferred)
- Current CPR certification
- Two years of direct patient care experience
- Experience in emergency care, critical care, or ET nursing (preferred)
