Role OverviewPerform routine work related to transportation activities such as construction inspection, routine and contract maintenance inspection, bridge inspection and record keeping, roadway maintenance and repair, light and heavy equipment operation, preventive and minor maintenance on equipment, traffic control, assisting the public during emergency situations, and training other employees.
What You Will Do
Perform moderately complex transportation operations or maintenance support work such as maintenance contract and material and process inspections; roadway maintenance and repair; light and heavy equipment operation; preventive and minor maintenance on equipment, traffic control; and helping the public during emergency situations.
Why It Might Be a Fit
Must be able to respond 24/7 when notified, and have experience in transportation engineering support, roadway maintenance, construction inspection, heavy equipment operation, or related work experience.
Requirements
- Valid driver's license
- Commercial Class 'A' Driver's License with an 'N' Endorsement
- 1 year of experience for Roadway Maintenance Tech II, 2 years of experience for Roadway Maintenance Tech III
