Role OverviewToledo Tool & Die is adding Robotic Weld Operators to support continued growth. This is a full-time position based in Toledo, Ohio, with competitive wages, growth opportunities, and a clean, safe work environment.
What You Will Do
Start machines, monitor their operation, record operational data, operate machines to saw, cut, shear, slit, punch, crimp, notch, bend, or straighten metal material, and inspect completed work pieces for defects.
Why It Might Be a Fit
Previous experience in a factory is beneficial but not necessary. Strong work ethic, positive attitude, consistent attendance, willingness to learn, and safety-mindedness are required.
Requirements
- Must be at least 18 years of age
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- Eligible to work in the United States
- Must be able to satisfactorily complete pre-employment screening (background check and drug screen)
- Experience operating large industrial equipment is preferred
- Must be able to work in a dynamic and fast-paced environment
- Report to work on time to support production startup
- Possess good physical stamina and coordination
- Must be able to stand, stoop, kneel, crouch or climb for extended periods of time
- Must be able to lift/push/pull objects that are up to 50 pounds
- Work as a team, good communication skills, basic math skills, physical dexterity
