Role OverviewThe Modulr.Robotics team is hiring a Robotics Engineer to design, build, and deploy decentralized robotic systems. The team powers the physical layer of Modulr's platform, developing real-time communication frameworks and hardware integrations for autonomy, scalability, and security.
What You Will Do
Design and implement robotic systems, develop control loops and navigation logic, integrate and test hardware systems, and build and maintain custom mechanical assemblies.
Why It Might Be a Fit
The ideal candidate has 3+ years of robotics development experience, strong proficiency in ROS2, Gazebo, and/or PX4 frameworks, and a solid understanding of motion planning, sensor fusion, and control theory.
Requirements
- 3+ years of robotics development experience
- Strong proficiency in ROS2, Gazebo, and/or PX4 frameworks
- Solid understanding of motion planning, sensor fusion, and control theory
- Experience integrating hardware, sensors, and embedded systems
- Hands-on mechanical aptitude for assembly, calibration, and modification of robotic platforms
- Familiarity with teleoperation, IoT, or decentralized control systems
- Experience collecting and analyzing telemetry data for AI model training or reinforcement learning

- Base Salary: $85K–$135K per year
