Role Overview

Collaborate with hardware and software teams to develop new robotic systems and concepts. Design, develop, and integrate electrical and electronics sub-systems, and develop motor, actuator, and sensor drivers in Python/C++. Work on complex projects, triage and debug cross-disciplinary issues, and contribute to process development and documentation.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's or master's degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechatronics Engineering, Robotics Engineering, or a related field
  • 2+ years of professional experience working with complex robotic or electromechanical systems
  • System level understanding of robotics hardware, firmware, controls, and software architecture
  • Experience with hardware integration, system debugging, and root-cause analysis
  • Hands-on experience with standard assembly and diagnostic tools
  • Mentality for fast prototyping and testing
  • Understanding of digital and analog signals and common communication protocols
