Job Description
Pregis is hiring a Roll Tender for 12-hour shifts in Arlington, TX. The Roll Tender will maintain consumable inventories, aid in 5S housekeeping efforts, and ready makeready materials as needed. The role involves working in a fast-paced environment, following standardized work instructions, and adhering to safe work practices. The ideal candidate will have a strong mechanical aptitude, good mathematical skills, and the ability to communicate respectfully with others.

Requirements

  • Readies all make-ready material as required
  • Maintains press roller and cylinders in inventory
  • Assures used rollers are reworked in a timely fashion
  • Maintains bearing inventories for all rollers used within the pressroom
  • Maintains plant cleanliness through assigned cleaning projects
  • Maintains all waste and oil products safely and in proper containment
  • Maintains an orderly clean and efficient space in the warehouse
  • Changes glue totes when required
  • Helps press crews in obtaining consumables when required
  • Actively engages in Pregis apprenticeship program
  • Ensures compliance with all safety and work rules and regulations
