Role OverviewOur Rotary Die Cutter / Flexo Operators are responsible for safely operating corrugated die cutting equipment, including setup, make-ready, operation, quality inspections, troubleshooting, and recommending improvements to meet customer demand. Operators are expected to maximize productivity while maintaining the highest standards of safety, quality, and equipment performance.
What You Will Do
Work safely at all times, follow GMPs, and comply with Pratt Industries quality procedures and policies. Maximize equipment utilization, improve set up times, and identify mechanical concerns. Train and assist co-workers, complete reports, and turn in maintenance work orders.
Why It Might Be a Fit
Must be able to work overtime, sometimes on short notice, and serve customers 24x7. Must be able to read and follow instructions, production schedules, and safety requirements. Must be able to apply common sense understanding to troubleshoot equipment and production issues.
Requirements
- High School Diploma or GED
- Minimum 5 years' experience operating die cutting equipment in a corrugated manufacturing environment
- Experience with Bobst, Baysek, Apstar, Ward, Martin, or similar equipment
- Previous experience in the corrugation packaging industry a plus
