Role OverviewThe ROTC Instructor will plan, teach, and evaluate instruction in JROTC subjects, providing educational opportunities and extracurricular activities for students. The instructor will teach, advise, and coach JROTC cadets to assist them in reaching their full potential. The instructor will maintain a viable JROTC program with a minimum enrollment of 100 students.
What You Will Do
Administer the high school JROTC program, teach JROTC education classes, develop annual, weekly, and daily training schedules, maintain military and school property, promote the growth of the program, and participate in district events.

Requirements
- Retired Commissioned Officer, Warrant Officer, or Non-Commissioned Officer
- Certified as a JROTC instructor by appropriate military service
- Baccalaureate degree (for Commissioned or Warrant Officers) or Associates degree (for Non-Commissioned Officers)
- Valid Kansas Driver's License
