Role OverviewThe position is responsible for developing, implementing, and evaluating training for Junior ROTC programs in Memphis City Schools. The instructor works independently, reporting major activities through periodic meetings.
What You Will Do
Develops and implements JROTC training and professional development programs, coordinates and plans co-curricular activities, and performs related work as assigned.

The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor's Degree in Education, Army officer rank, and three years of related experience. Must possess a valid state driver's license.
Requirements
- Graduation from an accredited college or university with a Bachelor’s Degree in Education and an endorsement in the grade/subject taught with a valid Tennessee certificate
- Requires education or experience equivalent to a bachelor’s degree in education, training or related field from an accredited college or university
- Requires Army officer rank
- Must possess a valid state driver's license
- Requires (3) three years of related experience
