Job Description
Assembles, disassembles, repairs, and/or modifies aircraft components by changing, removing, replacing, or upgrading aerospace vehicle sub-components, consumables, and expendables to correct failures or implement upgrades or modifications.

Requirements

  • Follows technical data, company procedures, and established industry processes to ensure contractual and regulatory compliance
  • Perform validation and verification testing of components
  • Troubleshoots complex mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems to isolate mechanical or other faults and repairs faulty components
  • Operate shop equipment to disassemble, troubleshoot, inspect, and repair aircraft components and assemblies
  • Perform corrosion control, maintenance inspections, miscellaneous duties to service components and test equipment, documents maintenance, records description of the work performed and verifies the work was performed satisfactorily
  • Support the configuration of aircraft components and bench test equipment as required
  • Assist other employees to understand / solve problems; develops and sustains productive customer relationships
