Job Description
The Carpenter will use carpentry skills to build, erect, install, and repair various structures, equipment, and fixtures throughout the facility and in production.

Requirements

  • Reading and interpreting blueprints
  • Assisting supervisors with structural design, planning, layout, and installation
  • Conducting repair work and installation of doors, windows, drywall, cabinets, stairs, and other fixtures
  • Joining drywall panels using tape and plaster
  • Repairing cracks and damage to drywall panels
  • Strong stakeholder service skills
  • Exceptional dedication to dependability and punctuality
  • Strong work ethic
  • Ability to engage a team toward a common mission
  • Ability to understand directions and read blueprints
  • Ability to solve mathematical problems quickly and accurately
  • Ability to properly care for and use tools of the trade
  • Ability to read, write and use micrometers, calipers, tape measures and other related measurement equipment
  • Ability to perform basic arithmetic
  • Ability to follow written and verbal instructions
  • Thorough understanding of carpentry principles and methods
  • Works well as part of a team
