Job Description
Pizza Wholesale of Lexington, Inc. (PWL) is seeking an Area Assistant or Route Delivery Driver to provide products and service to customers, build relationships, and meet sales growth goals. The successful candidate will have excellent customer service skills, be highly motivated, and have a sense of urgency.

Requirements

  • Safely operate a company truck in designated area
  • Verify daily preventative maintenance of vehicle and maintain proper operator documentation
  • Load/unload product per company policies and procedures
  • Review invoices daily for complete and accurate information
  • Verify beginning and ending truck inventory on a daily basis
  • Understand services, policies, and pricing methods and explain to customers
  • Take responsibility for personal safety and watch out for the safety of others
  • Train store employees as required
  • Clean up before leaving a store
  • Ensure the overall appearance of each pizza shoppe meets standards
  • Follow proper procedures for working with store owners
  • Provide service to customer locations in the absence of an Account Manager
  • Travel to other Districts to assist with running routes
  • Provide service to customer locations during holiday periods
  • Check voice mail and email daily
  • Attend company meetings and training
  • Perform other duties as assigned
