Role OverviewThis position requires the safe and timely delivery of assigned loads to final destinations. The individual will be responsible for operating a box truck or tractor-trailer, loading and unloading cargo, and maintaining accurate records of deliveries. The role requires excellent customer service skills and the ability to work in a fast-paced setting.
What You Will Do
Essential duties and responsibilities include operating a box truck or tractor-trailer, loading and unloading cargo, following assigned routes and schedules, maintaining accurate records of deliveries, and performing pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the vehicle.
Why It Might Be a Fit

Requirements
- Valid Class C Drivers License
- High school diploma or general education degree (GED)
- 1-2 years of driving experience
- Ability to read, comprehend, and write simple instructions or memos
- Ability to talk and communicate with coworkers and guests
- Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in both whole numbers and fractions and decimals without the aid of calculator or abacus
- Counting skills
- Patience, friendliness, and an outgoing personality
- Self-starter with a strong work ethic
- Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form
