Role OverviewThe Route Driver is responsible for representing the company while making deliveries and picking up freight. The job involves operating a manual transmission, providing good customer service, and working independently. The Route Driver must be able to pass a DOT physical exam and meet company standards for a good driving record.
What You Will Do
Deliver and pick up freight in a timely manner, inspect and report any mechanical problems with the vehicle, load the truck in an organized manner, collect payments for certain packages delivered, verify the content of pickups on shipping papers, and notify management of any problems or discrepancies.

Requirements
- At least 21 years of age
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Valid Driver's License with a good driving record
- Ability to pass a DOT physical exam
- Ability to bend, lift, twist, climb stairs, while moving freight on and off company vehicle
- Ability to lift and move freight weighing up to 100 pounds
- Ability to work with all types of freight, including hazardous material, perishable food, and live animals
