Job Description
Role Overview

A Route Driver is responsible for operating a semi-truck to collect animal mortalities, fat, and bone for removal from customer locations. The role involves maintaining an Electronic DOT log, providing customer service, and completing company required paperwork. The Route Driver is also responsible for vehicle maintenance, safety checks, and inspections.

What You Will Do

Collects and inspects raw material at customer locations, maintains an Electronic DOT log, provides customer service, and completes vehicle condition reports on a daily basis.

Why It Might Be a Fit

The ideal candidate will have 2 years of prior experience operating a commercial vehicle in a route delivery setting, a valid Class A CDL, and a good driving record. The role requires excellent customer relations, highly organized time management skills, and the ability to maintain composure in difficult situations.

Requirements

  • Must be at least 21 years of age
  • High school diploma or GED
  • Must possess a valid Class A CDL
  • Tankers Endorsement preferred
  • Ability to pass pre-employment physical and drug screen
