Job Description
Aluminum Precision Products (APP) is seeking a Router Operator to inspect forged parts for excess metal and remove it using a router tool. The role involves working in a lean work environment, maintaining quality and production requirements, and performing various duties as instructed by the department manager.

Requirements

  • Work safe and maintain an organized, lean work environment
  • Visualy and by touch inspect forged parts and work pieces for excess metal
  • Perform tooling set-up as required for specficied parts
  • Read blueprints and ICL's
  • Use of precision tools (calipers, scissor micrometer, height gage, ball/flat micrometer, etc.)
  • Must be able to operate in a drug-free workplace
  • Must be able to work overtime when required to meet operational deadlines
  • Will stand on feet 80% of the time and work in area that can exceed 90F throughout the work year
