Job Description
The Roving Maintenance Technician is responsible for multiple repairs and maintenance tasks throughout the day at ASPCA facilities in Asheville, NC. The role involves general building maintenance, special event support, basic plumbing and electrical work, light vehicle maintenance, snow removal, landscaping, carpentry, painting, and inspection of fire alarm and generator systems.

Requirements

  • Proficiency with general construction practices
  • Proficient in plumbing, carpentry, painting, electrical and completing general repairs
  • Proficient in the use of hand and power tools
  • Valid Driver's License and ability to drive when necessary
  • Able to handle heavy moving and lifting of at least 50 lbs.
  • Strong communication skills required
