Job Description
The Railroad Commission of Texas is seeking a Field Inspector in the Alternative Fuels Safety Department (AFS) in Austin. The inspector will conduct on-site technical inspections of alternative fuel installations and equipment, investigate incidents and accidents, and provide information on safety regulations and requirements.

Requirements

  • Graduation from a standard senior high school or G.E.D.
  • One or more years' LPG/CNG/LNG or Three or more years technical/inspection experience in a related or other professional field.
  • A valid Texas Driver's License.
  • Ability to work Monday-Friday, 8:00AM – 5:00PM with occasional flexible hours, nights, weekends.
