Job Description
The Railroad Commission of Texas is seeking an experienced Engineering Specialist IV to perform highly complex engineering work in the Critical Infrastructure Division. The ideal candidate will have a bachelor's degree in Engineering or a related field and 4+ years of relevant experience in engineering, data analysis, data management, research, and reporting work.
Requirements
Performs engineering work related to petroleum, mechanical, or facilities engineering
Prepares, reviews, and interprets blueprints, schematic drawings, layouts, and other visual aids
Provides technical expertise and coordination for programs, activities, studies, and projects
Performs engineering assessments, modeling, and monitoring
Reviews the activities of contractors, operators, or civic authorities
Prepares correspondence and technical reports
May conduct engineering fieldwork
Assists with project planning and oversight, and the development of procedures for the area of responsibility
May provide technical guidance on data evaluation, research coordination, issue analysis, testing, and report preparation and recommendations
