Job Description
The Railroad Commission of Texas is seeking a Data Analyst IV to provide data analysis, data management, and research work for a newly formed Subsurface Investigation Unit. The successful candidate will have experience with data analysis, data management, and research, as well as experience with Oracle Database, relational database applications, SQL, Python, VBA Script, and PowerBI.

Requirements

  • Graduation from an accredited four-year college or university with major coursework in Data Science; Business Analytics; Computer Science; Computer Information Systems; Management Information Systems; Mathematics; Statistics; Finance, or a related field.
  • Four (4) years of professional experience in process mapping, querying data and data analysis, data management, research, compilation, and reporting work.
  • Two (2) years of experience with Oracle Database, relational database applications, SQL, Python, VBA Script and PowerBI.
