Job Description
The Railroad Commission of Texas is seeking a Budget Director with working knowledge of Texas state budget and financial reporting. The successful applicant should possess strong expertise in managing monthly financial close processes, monitoring entity-wide budget and providing multi-level financial analysis on expenses and revenue.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, or a closely related field
  • Ten (10) years of progressively responsible experience in budgeting, finance, or accounting roles
  • Demonstrated experience in the analysis and evaluation of financial data
  • Six (6) years of experience in a managerial position
