Job Description
The Director of Queens Street Maintenance will supervise Queens Borough operation and its related improvement programs.

Requirements

  • A baccalaureate degree from an accredited college and five years of full-time experience, with a public or private organization, in inspection, maintenance, construction or engineering work related to the work of a large scale highway system;
  • at least 18 months of which must have been in an administrative, managerial or executive capacity or supervising a staff engaged in performing the above type of work;
  • A valid New York State Professional Engineer's License and 18 months of supervisory, administrative, managerial or executive experience in civil engineering work related to highway construction or maintenance;
  • A four year high school diploma or its educational equivalent and nine years of the experience described in '1' above;
  • at least 18 months of supervisory, administrative, managerial or executive experience as described in '1' above;
  • Education and/or experience equivalent to '1', '2' or '3' above and at least 18 months of supervisory, administrative, managerial or executive experience as described in '1' above.
