Role Overview

The Analyst, Recovery & Resolution Planning, will play a critical role in the development, maintenance, governance, and execution readiness of the firm's Recovery and Resolution Planning framework. This position supports compliance with U.S. regulatory requirements and expectations while partnering across business lines, corporate functions, and legal entities to enhance the organization's resilience and preparedness during periods of financial stress.

What You Will Do

Assist in the development, enhancement, and maintenance of the firm's Recovery and Resolution Plans in accordance with applicable U.S. regulatory requirements and industry best practices. Implement regulatory requirements from agencies such as the Federal Reserve Board, Federal Deposit Insurance Corporation, and other relevant regulatory bodies.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in finance, Business Administration, Economics, Risk Management, Accounting, or a related field
  • 8+ years of experience in recovery and resolution planning, enterprise risk management, regulatory affairs, financial resilience, corporate strategy, audit, consulting, or a related discipline within a large financial institution or consulting firm
  • Strong quantitative capability in liquidity cashflow modelling, funding concentration analysis, collateral/encumbrance metrics, and liquidity stress testing (survival horizon / sensitivity / breakpoint analysis)
  • Knowledge of the U.S. banking regulatory environment, including recovery and resolution planning requirements for financial institutions
  • Solid understanding of risk management frameworks, governance structures, and financial institution operations
  • Demonstrated ability to build effective relationships across multiple business and functional areas
  • Proven experience managing organizational change and driving cross-functional initiatives
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and critical-thinking capabilities
  • Ability to work independently while influencing stakeholders without direct authority
  • High level of attention to detail, judgment, and professional maturity
  • Proficient in Excel (Power Query/Power Pivot) and SQL
