Role OverviewSupport research and technology projects to advance AEC's composite manufacturing capabilities. Collaborate with a team to explore new materials, processes, and structures. Contribute to projects that expand AEC's technology portfolio.
What You Will Do
Identify and lead initiatives to enable technical competency, contribute to specific programs, and provide technical leadership. Collaborate on design verification and validation, establish material characterization plans, and lead projects from idea phase to completion.

Ideal candidate has a strong understanding of mechanics and strength of materials, familiarity with material characterization methods, and experience with composite materials and manufacturing processes. Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in materials, mechanical, civil, aerospace engineering, or a related field
- 2-5 years in aerospace, composites, materials engineering, or related fields
- Exposure to composite materials, manufacturing processes, or product development
- High proficiency in design, development, and manufacturing of composite structures and processes
