Job Description
Fairbanks Morse Defense is seeking a motivated individual to fill a shipping and receiving packing position at our facility located in Carson, CA. This individual will be a key member of the logistics department at Research Tool & Die Works. The individual will work with a team handling the receipt and delivery of all incoming shipments while ensuring the accuracy of outgoing shipments.

Requirements

  • Manages the shipment and receipt of all products, materials, and supplies
  • Collaborates and communicates with logistics supervisor, packing/shipping associates, service providers, and others involved in the shipment and receipt of products
  • Maintains a clean, neat, and member-ready area
  • Promptly unloads trucks and deliveries and sorts and stocks receivables
  • Maintains an accurate log sheet of daily moves, scanning inventory, and counting accurately
  • Engages with vendors and drivers with a positive attitude
  • Provides additional backup support for shipping and receiving departments
  • Scans and sorts incoming and outgoing stock
  • Receives, stocks, and stacks products and materials
  • Pulls, packs, and loads products as instructed
