Role OverviewThe Rubber Liner Technician is responsible for the proper application of rubber lining and protective coatings in accordance with the lining and coating manufacturer’s specifications and procedures.
What You Will Do
Follow all plant operating and safety policies and procedures to make on-the-job decisions to permit safe and efficient operations of the area and the overall plant, according to specified and delegated authority.
Why It Might Be a Fit
Must meet the physical requirements, including, but not limited to, standing, bending or stooping for extended periods of time, working in an outdoor environment year-round, handling tools and equipment, climbing stairs and ladders, and climbing onto tracks and into rail cars.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- 3+ years of experience as a rubber liner technician supporting railcars required
- Must meet the physical requirements
- Must meet medical requirements for Confined Space work
- Must be able to obtain a TWIC (Transportation Worker Identification Credential) and possess a valid US Driver's license
