Job Description
The Safety/Administrative Specialist will create value for the company by promoting a cohesive and safe working environment. This individual will serve as a representative to the Lakeview, Oregon location, providing knowledge and support to employees of the business unit in both safety and administrative functions.

Requirements

  • Promote and develop positive employee relations
  • Assist with the business unit's safety program
  • Responsible for safety orientation for new hires
  • Conduct incident/accident investigations
  • Responsible for scheduling interviews on behalf of the corporate HR team and local management
  • Responsible for ensuring hourly payroll records are input and processed accurately
  • Manage onboarding and offboarding of all hourly and salaried staff
  • Assist employees with filing for state and federal protective leave laws
  • Partner with the HR and Safety team on local initiatives
  • Perform additional duties as required by supervisor
