Job Description
The Safety/Administrative Specialist will create value for the company by promoting a cohesive and safe working environment. This individual will serve as a representative to the Lakeview, Oregon location, providing knowledge and support to employees of the business unit in both safety and administrative functions.
Requirements
Promote and develop positive employee relations
Assist with the business unit's safety program
Responsible for safety orientation for new hires
Conduct incident/accident investigations
Responsible for scheduling interviews on behalf of the corporate HR team and local management
Responsible for ensuring hourly payroll records are input and processed accurately
Manage onboarding and offboarding of all hourly and salaried staff
Assist employees with filing for state and federal protective leave laws
Partner with the HR and Safety team on local initiatives
Perform additional duties as required by supervisor
