Role OverviewWe're hiring a Safety Coordinator to join a well-established mechanical contractor based in New Hope, MN. This is a great opportunity for someone early in their safety career who wants hands-on experience supporting both field and office teams across active construction projects.
What You Will Do
Support the development and implementation of company safety programs and site-specific safety plans, conduct weekly safety inspections, provide safety guidance, and help ensure compliance with applicable State and Federal safety regulations.
Why It Might Be a Fit
The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor’s degree in Environmental Health & Safety (EHS), Occupational Safety, or a related field, and construction safety experience, particularly within HVAC, mechanical, or commercial construction.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Environmental Health & Safety (EHS), Occupational Safety, or a related field
- Construction safety experience, particularly within HVAC, mechanical, or commercial construction
- CHST (Construction Health and Safety Technician) certification is a plus
- OSHA 30 certification preferred, or ability to complete within the first 10 days of employment
- Working knowledge of State and Federal environmental, health, and safety regulations
- Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively with both field and office teams
