Role OverviewThe North Carolina Department of Transportation (NCDOT) is seeking a dynamic and experienced leader to oversee and advance our statewide occupational safety and health programs. This role provides the opportunity to make a meaningful impact on the safety and well-being of thousands of employees across Highway, DMV, and other transportation operation areas.
What You Will Do
Provide strategic leadership and technical guidance for high-risk safety programs, identify and address performance challenges, foster collaboration, lead continuous improvement initiatives, and oversee statewide programs and contracts that support employee safety and health.

Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in safety management, occupational safety, industrial technology or one of the physical sciences
