Job Description
As a Safety Engineer, you will work with Operations to develop and implement cost-effective compliance solutions to State and Federal safety regulations. You will interact with regulatory agencies, develop training materials, and maintain records to demonstrate compliance. You will also work with the regional organization to implement processes to meet regulatory requirements and ensure operating flexibility.

Requirements

  • Able and willing to work on-site, in-person at the Valero Port Arthur Refinery
  • Bachelor's or higher-level degree in Engineering or related Science
  • 2 years of safety experience
  • Experience representing a company to regulatory agencies
  • Petrochemical experience preferred
  • Refinery Turnaround experience preferred
