Job Description
FDRsafety is seeking a Safety Manager to oversee a construction project in Socorro, TX. This position is anticipated to start immediately and will last approximately 10 months on a Monday-Friday dayshift schedule for 40-50 hours/week.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Occupational Safety, Safety Management, or related field is preferred.
  • EM-385 experience and BCSP certification (ASP, CHST, or CSP) or similar certification is preferred.
  • OSHA 510 is preferred.
  • Candidates must have an OSHA 30 Hour in Construction Certification.
  • Candidates must have a First-Aid/CPR/AED certificate.
  • 5+ years of construction safety experience as a lead with the proven ability to identify workable solutions to eliminate hazards.
  • Strong background in constructions procedures and processes.
  • Experience with cranes, rigging, confined space, and forklift safety is required.
