Job Description
The Safety Manager serves as the Owner’s representative for day-to-day safety oversight across complex capital construction projects. The role monitors contractor safety performance, ensures compliance with OSHA and project requirements, and supports the proactive identification and mitigation of field risks.

Requirements

  • Conduct routine site safety observations and audits to identify hazards and verify compliance
  • Support incident, accident, and near-miss investigations, including documentation and corrective actions
  • Monitor contractor safety programs, training records, and documentation for compliance
  • Participate in toolbox talks, safety meetings, and field briefings to reinforce safety expectations
  • Ensure field compliance with OSHA standards, PPE requirements, and safe work practices
  • Collaborate with contractors and project teams to resolve safety issues and reduce risk
  • Track and report safety performance metrics and trends to the Owner and project leadership
