Job Description
The Safety Manager reports to the Site Project Manager and supervises Site Safety Technician and personnel assigned to site safety duties. The role requires a minimum of 10 years of general safety experience, including 5 years of applicable construction project experience, and industry certification such as OSHA 30-hour for Construction course.

Requirements

  • High School Education and/or Trade School
  • Minimum 10 years of general safety experience
  • Industry certification such as OSHA 30-hour for Construction course
  • Documented Competent Person Safety Training in applicable disciplines
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Outlook, and Excel
  • Basic understanding of construction safety standards
  • Good interpersonal and communication skills
  • Ability to enforce safety, health, and environmental regulations
