Job Description
Pedernales Electric Cooperative is seeking a Safety Manager to oversee ongoing safety programs, manage safety procedures, and ensure employee safety. The role involves coordinating safety training, emergency response, investigating accidents, and ensuring compliance with OSHA standards. The Safety Manager will collaborate with management and external organizations to improve safety performance.

Requirements

  • Manage all aspects of the Cooperative’s Safety Program Initiatives
  • Oversee all safety programs including field, office and corporate initiatives
  • Coordinate and implement safety related training
  • Ensure that employees have the proper safety training, knowledge and tools to perform their jobs safely and effectively
  • Develop, purchase, maintain and distribute safety training materials and equipment
  • Prepare and present status of programs to senior management and other stakeholders
