Role OverviewSafety Monitors/Security Guards are responsible for the overall security and well-being of patients, staff, visitors, and physical facilities of Butler Hospital. They work in the Emergency Room/Patient Assessment Department, perform scanning procedures, and assist Patient Assessment staff as needed.
What You Will Do
Make routine rounds, secure doors and windows, check for signs of smoke and/or fire, report unusual conditions or situations, assist clinical staff, and promote cooperation between inside and outside security guards.
Why It Might Be a Fit
Previous security, police, or military police background is desirable, and experience in the field of Mental Health or law enforcement is a plus.

- Valid Drivers License
- Ability to multi-task and work collaboratively with mental health clinicians
- Excellent communication skills
- Experience in the field of Mental Health or law enforcement a plus
