Role OverviewAs a Safety Parking Specialist, you will play a vital role in creating a safe and organized parking environment for employees, customers, and visitors at Glens Falls Hospital. You will direct traffic, monitor parking areas, and respond quickly to potential hazards to prevent accidents and ensure the smooth flow of vehicles and pedestrians.
What You Will Do
Patrol parking lots for parking violations, utilize NYS DMV license plate lookup, document activities, report incidents and accidents, perform courier services, control parking and traffic flow, respond to requests for assistance, and assist with jump starting vehicles and changing tires.
Why It Might Be a Fit
You will consult with and keep the supervisor informed of activities, needs, and problems, and assist with lot control for plowing and maintenance, snow removal, shoveling, and clearing off vehicles.
Requirements
- Valid driver's license
- NYS Security License (preferred but not required)
- Ability to stand and walk for long periods of time in all types of weather
- Strong customer service skills
