Role OverviewThe Safety and Security Manager oversees the safety and security team, ensuring the well-being of staff and clients. They maintain schedules, supervise team members, and ensure compliance with training and certifications. The role involves welcoming clients, monitoring surveillance cameras, and responding to emergencies. The Manager will also collaborate with law enforcement and support the implementation of security technology.

The Safety and Security Manager will maintain schedules, approve timecards, and conduct employee evaluations. They will also ensure that team members have completed reports and documentation in a timely manner. The role involves responding to emergencies, mediating conflicts, and communicating with other staff to resolve problems.

Requirements
- Demonstrated experience in employee supervision
- Experience/knowledge in security management, de-escalation, crisis management, and safety preferred
- Ability to work effectively within the framework of Catholic teachings
- Strong organizational, communication, interpersonal, and presentation skills
- Ability to effectively lead and motivate staff through the application of Agency values
- Intermediate knowledge of computers to input data, create and generate reports, and maintain communications
- Knowledge of the service population's cultural and socioeconomic characteristics and the appropriate techniques and practices for the client population
- Ability to interact effectively as a team member and independently with Agency staff and with a diverse client base
