Role OverviewThe Safety Specialist supports day-to-day participant and site safety throughout the Care Campus, including the courtyard, entrances, common areas, service areas, and designated perimeter areas.
What You Will Do
Maintain a consistent, visible presence and monitor assigned areas for safety concerns, participants in distress, and environmental hazards. Engage participants respectfully using trauma-informed, person-centered, and nonjudgmental approaches.
Why It Might Be a Fit
Previous experience in homeless services, behavioral health, social services, safety, security, crisis response, outreach, residential services, or another participant-facing setting preferred. Experience working with individuals experiencing homelessness or other complex needs strongly preferred.
