Role OverviewThe Safety Supervisor oversees daily safety operations at the CCS Basic Needs – Salt Lake (BN-SL) campus, supervising Safety Specialists, and providing leadership and coaching. They work closely with the Basic Needs Operations Manager and other location leadership to maintain a safe environment for clients, staff, volunteers, and visitors.
What You Will Do
The Safety Supervisor will directly supervise Safety Specialists, provide leadership and day-to-day direction, respond to emergency situations, lead de-escalation efforts, and train and coach Safety Specialists.
Why It Might Be a Fit
The ideal candidate will have strong communication and conflict-resolution skills, the ability to remain calm during emergencies, and experience directly supervising or leading staff. Prior experience in security, safety, behavioral health, or a related field is preferred.
