Job Description
The role of Safety Technician 3 involves implementing and monitoring industrial safety programs, evaluating new equipment and materials for safety, and performing surveys and inspections to ensure compliance with OSHA and State codes and regulations. The candidate will be expected to gain skills and knowledge in confined space safety, atmospheric testing, and record-keeping.

Requirements

  • Ability to understand and carry out written or oral information or instructions left by a CMC.
  • Knowledge of the requirements in subparts B, C, D, and H of 29 CFR Part 1915.
  • Ability to use, calibrate, and interpret test results of atmospheric testing equipment.
  • Ability to inspect, test, and evaluate spaces to determine the need for further testing by a CMC.
