Role Overview

Under general direction, inspects work areas and equipment to ensure compliance with company, state, and federal safety policies and regulations. Documents safety inspections, citing dangerous areas/procedures and recommending corrective procedures. Maintains safety equipment supply and availability.

What You Will Do

Maintains all files and records including material safety data sheets and other paperwork ensuring compliance. May be responsible for hazardous material program, assuring all hazardous materials are received, handled, shipped, stored, labeled and disposed of in accordance with company and government regulations.

Requires a high school diploma or an equivalent combination of education and experience. A two year degree or equivalent is preferred. Requires at least 5 years related experience. Requires understanding and ability to train others in company, state and federal safety policies and regulations.
